A MEMORABLE DARK NIGHT
" Why did you choose this club ?" Asked my teacher,
In the last club class, at the fag end of the year.
The nomenclature was resounding,
The mentors are positive and motivating.
The club is my second home, away from home,
The mentors care me as good as my mom.
It's a disciplined team, we are her members,
All loving teachers are our team's leaders.
Opportunities are plenty, foundation is strong,
We learn to set and achieve our goals as much as we long.
At the outset I was a bit shy and nervous ,
But at the end my achievements were marvelous.
My concluding words, " If my club is an ocean, I am a river. "
I recited the poem, Khalil Gibran's FEAR.
Wow! Everyone stood up and clapped,
Unknowingly on my cheeks, few drops of tear rolled .
Surprisingly nobody knew my club, till the end,
It's IGNIGHTED MINDS, my dear friends.
Dedicated to my teachers and club members of IGNIGHTED MINDS of SAI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, BHUBANESWAR.

It was a dark night,
With a faint dim light .
There was a lady sitting beside,
She was loving and polite,
She asked me to light a light.
We saw a bird uttering a word,
It suddenly vanished with a thud .
I saw a magic flower,
Growing and growing in an hour .
I saw some grass ,
Watered by a man with a loud laugh.
To show this poem I ran to my mom ,
She was busy with my bro and said "No."
I met my friend who read my poem,
Wow! What a surprise! Wonderful rhyme .
Both of us sang the song with a loud scream
A violent shake from my mother, broke my dream.
