For fun, once I added animated smile to Ajaya and few of our friends images. But Ajaya,as usual creates something out of nothing, that's how" Smiles & Autumn leaves"was born.
Expected many more of the same type from him

Thank you Dr. Upadhyaya for such a lovely poem. The picture blends perfectly with your poetic sentiments. The autumn leaves picture is exquisite. Took me back to August 1993 when I saw for the first time the riot of colours in autumn trees in a small town in State College, USA. It was breathtakingly beautiful, left me absolutely flabbergasted. I wondered how so much beauty could lie in just one tree. I thought that was the most beautiful gift of nature, till I saw the slow, steady fall of snow in a twilight sky of November!!!! Thanks again for your wonderful offering! Mrutyunjay Sarangi

I take the author's prerogative to post the first comment and make an acknowledgement. The photograph of the girl, with her joy writ large in her smile, was taken years ago. Those days, I used to carry a camera during my walks, to collect photos of village scenes and capture the essence of village life before it is gone. After writing the poem, Smile, I could not think of a more appropriate picture to accompany it. Looking back, the poem owes its origin to her spontaneity and vivacity, etched in my mind and the memory of her charm, undiminished with passage of time. My sincere thanks to my friend, Dr Baishnab Nayak, who has blended them beautifully.
