MUSIC: OUR LIFE LINE
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LUSH GREEN
In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
A tree standing in front of me.
The leaves are healthy and green,
Dances gracefully as the branches lean.
In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
Another tree halted in front of me.
Its leaves were lifeless and flawed,
The sorrow it held was surpassing over beyond.
In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
A sweet bird flying to the green tree.
Collecting twigs from far and wide,
To make a home where it will reside.
In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
A dry tree looking at the green.
Its branches so coarse I see,
Not a bird planning to reside on such a tree.
In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
A tree standing proudly.
As the blossoms fall gently at its feet,
For it has nothing to win or lose, indeed.
In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
A tree weeping silently.
A blossom flies towards it with a comforting smile,
Thus, deciding where to reside,
For it has nothing to lose, except for the floret by its side.
Yet again; In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
A leaf dangling at the tip of the coarse tree.
Its orange leaves which laid at its foot picked up pace,
Driven by the wind into a race.
In the middle of the lush green field, I see,
The green tree smiling happily.
For, now its friend was about to flee,
From its hardships and misery.
In the middle of a lush green field, I see,
Both the trees getting wet merrily.
The ecstatic coarse tree beamed,
For the future, it could foresee.
Anew, in the middle of a lush green field, I see,
Two trees swaying rapturously.
Green and healthy leaves shining brightly,
How beautiful they looked, ever so happily!
I am Anura Parida, a 12-year-old creative writer currently studying in the 7th grade. Ever since I can remember, words have been my closest companions, and poetry has become my heartfelt expression.
Through my writing, I explore the tapestry of emotions that color my world – from the joy of friendship to the contemplation of life's mysteries.
Besides being a writer, I am an avid reader, devouring classics and contemporary literature alike, which helps me expand my creative horizons. Art, in all its forms, holds a special place in my heart, and I enjoy sketching and painting to complement my poetic musings. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to sharing this beautiful world of creative writing with you all!
Music is an emotion, not just an ordinary sound ,
It shows us the path of life, even when we are drowned.
When we are lost on a directionless ride ,
It's always with us by our side.
When we are confused and in the dark,
It comes to our rescue as a spark.
Music never differentiates sad and happy times,
It has neither a fixed time nor a particular rhythm.
Nature is music and music is nature ,
It's in the sky , on the earth and in the water .
If music is the ocean, lyric is the river ,
Music is our lifeline , lyrics may differ.
