Ishanvi Behera, a student of 9th standard in DAV public school, Burla, Sambalpur, has a habit of looking and doing things in an artistic way. A voracious reader, she is very much dedicated to her studies. PAINTINGS
Oh! Look at that happy man!
How jolly his day began!
The birds chirping along the way,
In a melody of his lay.
Oh, look at that happy man!
How bright his face shines,
At every clock chime.
Just look at that smile, oh, so divine.
He waves his hat to all he sees,
Walking around while swaying at ease.
He jumps all around and then flees,
His smile grows at every gentle breeze.
A happy man’s life is the gladsome of all,
A happy man’s certitude will never fall.
A happy man’s head always stands tall,
A happy man celebrates everything big or small.
Being happy is not hard you see,
From a small amount of joy, it is incredible what you can be.
I am Anura Parida, a 12-year-old creative writer currently studying in the 7th grade. Ever since I can remember, words have been my closest companions, and poetry has become my heartfelt expression.
Through my writing, I explore the tapestry of emotions that color my world – from the joy of friendship to the contemplation of life's mysteries.
Besides being a writer, I am an avid reader, devouring classics and contemporary literature alike, which helps me expand my creative horizons. Art, in all its forms, holds a special place in my heart, and I enjoy sketching and painting to complement my poetic musings. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to sharing this beautiful world of creative writing with you all!
(This poem is written just after the consecration of “Ram Lalla” at the Ram Temple, built in Ayodhya)
The celebration has just begun, 500 years of wait ends ,
The pious moment of consecration of “Ram Lalla” commences.
Breaking all the boundaries, 2024 is upto an awesome start,
The world is waiting to welcome Lord Ram with a joyous heart.
Shree Ram is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna,
He is also worshiped as the “Maryada Purusottam”.
A " MAHAPURUSH" and the king of scholars,
We all bow down before Him with honors.
He was , is and will be alive in our hearts,
We will never leave Him again, even we are torn apart.
He had played the role of a son, brother, husband, a ruler and a warrior,
He had never shied away from fighting for truth and justice and punishing the wrong doer.
The consecration has come as a bondage at the time of need,
To show the world, the right path of peace and prosperity in deed.
The foundation of RAMA RAJYA is just laid down,
The onus is on us to transform it to a heaven.
Let the hatred, violence and bloodshed come to an end ,
Let the hand of brotherhood, all of us extend.
“The world is one family ( Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam)”,
let it be our mission,
“And let everyone be happy ( Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha)” , be our vision.
