A RAINY WINTER MORNING
There is a building near my house
It stands in a lovely pose
It is very old
Yet, it is bold
It is supporting many vines
It is thick as it is fine
The vines look very green
Green like a window screen
It is a green waterfall
Nature at its best of all

LEADERSHIP CAMP: MY EXPERIENCE
From the day the notice of the leadership camp came,
I was sceptical, if my father will agree the same.
This time he could not say "NO.",
Allowed me painstakingly and said, "GO".
I was so excited, I can't express.
I jumped , danced and hugged, what not, you guess!
Eleventh October came nearby,
Packed my bag ,put on the uniform and left home with joy.
One night - two days trip named as NETRITVA CAMP,
To spend the night with my friends, some even scamp .
Came here with a hope to gossip and play,
Dance , caricature, jokes and funfair the whole day .
But the instructors had the plans , otherwise.
" You have to be adoptive , fight the disasters with productivity", which will be nice .
I did the most dangerous activity of my life which I could cope ,
I was pushed from the fifth floor, only sliding with a rope.
I had the rafting, the easiest of all ,
We had a small turbulence and then a great fall.
At the fag end of the day,
It was horse riding,
We all tried but most of us were failing.
After the dinner half an hour break,
We were allowed to use mobile to whomsoever we speak .
The DJ night started, all are to dance,
Everyone was so hyped up , truly a scene to glance !
Bell rang at eleven,
To go to bed , wake up by five and get ready by seven.
To be frank, in one room we were ten ,
We all chatted, sang, danced and when we came to sense, it was thirty minutes to seven.
That day began with self help program.
We cooked Maggie under the trainer's supervision.
Hectic activities went throughout the day,
In the evening after the valedictory ceremony we made a tearful goodbye.

A RAINY WINTER MORNING
Anura Parida
It is the end of autumn and yet it seems,
Like a rainy day in the winter breeze.
The wind sings along the way,
In a melody that makes us sway.
I see the heavy dew splattering its way,
The tree beams after seeing the sky grey.
The forest from afar seems lustrous green,
Welcoming their mizzling queen.
The winter dew dropping from the new primrose,
On the other side, I saw two twin rows.
The fire lit at night to keep us warm,
Was washed away with a lovely song.
The break of dawn seems something that enchants,
Lost in the world, seeing what nature grants.
A blissful sight soothing for my eyes,
Wishing for the mizzling queen to stay in the misty skies.
The sun was resting, waiting for the clouds to break,
The mizzling queen soon went, as the world was now awake.
The sun shone spreading its vibrant rays,
Everyone soon forgot the mizzling queen, which everyone fakes…
