ONCE
Hardly seven days in the school,
Ghost of Summer made the administrators fool.
On line classes started,
The horrible tale of COVID period reminded.
Vacation declared,
For outing, I was barred.
Fear of sun stroke injected into my mind.
I was imprisoned, given books of all kind .
I changed my hobby as a dancer,
I loved the cool swimming pool and became a swimmer.
COVID had given me a friend, which was out of my mind.
In the most boring summer it came to my help, it was so kind.
For being a friend of it , it was too costly.
I remained under the vigilance of my parents and grandparents, not left a while.
" What are you doing? What are you watching? How long will you watch ?", were the words of fight.
"You will become an addict and lose your eye sight. "
This struggle continued till yesterday. When I got the notice of opening the school, I danced with joy .

Fear not a thing,
No need to let our hearts ring.
Mother Earth will never hurt us,
She makes us smile with her gifts,
To earn that smile just change the way you think.
Mother Nature looks beautiful when she cries,
You can trust me, I’m not lying.
Every drop of her tear is a blessing to Earth
Each tear gives a new life birth.
Mother Nature looks majestic when she freezes,
Looks like heaven is showering diamonds.
Turning the wind into a cold breeze,
A beautiful bonding of the mountain and onding.
Mother Nature looks passionate while running,
Caring about nothing coming.
Knowing she will break the cage holding her back,
Continuing to flow without breaking track.
Mother Nature’s birth was on a rocky planet called the Earth.
Chunks of it live to this date,
History of the unknown buried deep in its department,
Safely kept in Mother Nature’s chest.
A thousand million places are on the Earth,
Having the blessing of Mother Nature.
But out of all, there is one place that experiences all,
From high mountains covered with snow,
With rivers flowing from high to low.
Drenjong is the place to go,
The land of monasteries and snow.
Home to species you never know,
Amazing as it sounds,
The more stunned you will be when your feet touch its ground.

Once when I was a little girl
I looked up at the moon
It was round, grey and beautiful
And glowed like a big balloon
But now that I'm older
I see beneath it's glow
and if there's one thing life has taught me
Is that you never really know
You never really know
what's underneath one's skin
what's hidden beneath their scars
what's hidden deep within
And the moon is a good example
of someone hiding behind a mask
because although it shines so brightly,
it keeps us in the dark
so one day I hope it tells me
All the stories of its past
