FALLING LEAVES
AUTUMN
THE NIGHT SKY
My nose was hit but the salty air
My feet sank into the moist sand
The sea waves ringing in my ear
And my mind wondering here and there
The sea waves splashing at my feet
Relieving all the stress out of my mind
The feeling when the sand below my feet
Getting pulled away into the sea
Is the best feeling that ever happened to me.
The flock of birds, flying overhead
The boats and the ships rocking on the sea
Disappear in minutes
As if they were never meant to be seen.
I walk around the whole beach
Leaving footprints to be seen
Yet when I turn back
Not a mark to be seen.

Today life is very fast moving. Hardly anybody has free time to breathe. I am not an exception. My time passes from home to school and back, dance class, art class, completing assignments, preparation for debate and different examinations like class test, half yearly, annual, olympiad and many more. I feel as if everything is a mess. Is really life a mess ? Is it a universal phenomenon? Sometimes seeing my teachers, engineering parents and doctor grandparents many questions come to my mind. For them life is not a mess. How could they make their lives so beautiful? Most probably I am too immature to analyze all these.
When in solitude , sitting on a sofa or sleeping on my bed I search for the answers . I ask my inner self . At that moment I get completely lost from the outer world. But I fail to get the answer.
After going through some books, listening stories from my parents and grandparents and taking part in SAI SANSKAR CLASSES regularly in my school,I am able to understand a few things about life.
Let me share a few of my feelings.
The first thing is that one is born to live so I am. When one's going to live one should live with positivity and dignity, at the same time let others live. Thank God that because of Him we all are living.
The second thing is one should live one's life fully. It means exploring one's life to its fullest dimensions not according to one's whim, fancy or sweet will but without doing harm to others.
The third thing is about the meaning of life. One day a wise man was asked, " What's the meaning of life? " He replied, " Life itself has no meaning. Life is an opportunity to create meaning. " It means you yourself is life, it's within yourself and so don't search for its meaning.
The fourth thing is what is the purpose of life. God has given everyone a life with a purpose. But the irony is that we are not wise enough to understand it . When we understand,it becomes too late. But it's interpreted as life is short. So most of us fail to utilize it to its fullest extent.
I have learnt that in the total span of life two days are very important. One is the day you are born and the other is the day you understand why you are born .

I bow to Thee, Mother India ,
your culture is the seed to your glory.
Like a bouquet of beautiful flowers,
Filled with sweet fragrance.
The bright faces of kathakali,
The divine grace of Bharatham,
The unsettling energy of Bhangra,
Joyous clapping and tapping of dandiya,
Thus is the root which beholds,
This rich soil of ancient traditions.
Diverse though they are,
United they stand to inspire,
to celebrate the victory of everlasting art,
crossing the barriers of states apart.
I salute this strong virtue,
That binds me to you, you and you.
TOPIC- Fascinating art and culture in Indian states and Union Territories.
Ashmanth is a precocious boy of 13 years. He is in Seventh grade. A natural flair in creativity he enjoys his moments in writing short stories, poems in English and Hindi, a bit of sanskrit too. A very cheerful and playful boy he is fun to be with.
Mending my hat to source poor heat,
I sat beside the river counting beats
Of android phones and petrified chirps,
Moves of puerile wands of trees,
Waging war to hit a six at bands.
Moors of fear in mind,
Booted in beastly winds,
Lashing a whip of Venetian blinds.
Meadows of nearby grasslands deep,
In array of autumn leaves dry in reeds.
Changing shades of my woods,
Is still not wed to green.
An adieu to ounce of maple food,
In webs of red bash of broody woods,
I still wear my hats on,
Intruding my vision,
Is a berry of evil Adam?
Adieu not until my autism.
Vishal is a 12 year old savant, autistic boy, who has rather precocious , innate and scientific mind to interpret information about the surroundings. His interest in science, has been from his childhood, rather from a young age, 4years. He would write about simple physics in day to day activities that he used to do. He has extreme proficiency in English literature, and has been the author of two books- Meadow of Moods- a kind of autobiography, in the form of a coffee table book, at age 6. The other is a book called Jumbo’s bag on communication difficulties, faced by non-verbal kids, along with some self-analysed tips that he shares with the readers. He has written songs in Sanskrit, Hindi, and Tamil, along with proposed ragas which has been compiled as a music album called Smaranam.
He has developed deep interest in bio-organic organisms, especially algae, initially as fuel, but recently as a bio photonic filter in light sources. All his ideas are highly intuitive and they are noted in line with the present science facts, as much as possible. These have been quite validated by academicians and professors, to some extent. He has challenges in motor skills, and so these intellectual writings, he does with a facilitating support from his mother, me, to pen down. He is very verbal, and cognitive in understanding the world around him. However, all that he needs, is a good guidance and mentoring in nurturing his ideas in science, especially, photonics and spectroscopy. He has strong precognitive vision ability about various information that he processes, which is very unique. He is a child, under the mild spectrum with varied savant abilities, trying to make his mark in this world. He has recently achieved Budding Innovators award by a science and technology school called Curiokidz, Chennai. His project is on bio photonic filter using algae pigments which can be used in our day today basic lighting appliances. The same is in the process of being registered as an organised research paper and archived for further reference.
Falling Leaves
Little leaves fall softly down
Red and Yellow, Orange and Brown
Whirling, twirling round and round
Falling softly on the grounds,
Little leaves fall softly down
To make a carpet on the ground
Then swish the wind comes whistling by,
And sends them dancing to the sky
Autumn
Come little leaves
Said the wind one day
Come down to the meadow
And we shall play
Put on your dresses
Of red and gold
For summer is past
And the days grow cold
Dancing and singing
The leaves went along
Until winter called them
To end their sweet song
Soon, fast asleep
In the earthly beds
The snow lay a cover over their head
When you look up at the night sky at night
even though it may be dark you see sparkly light
during the day the sky is a pretty light blue
Then at night you see something totally new
The sparkling lights are planets or stars
they seem so close but yet so far
It is a magic in the sky at night and that i love
i just admire the stars twinkling above
you wonder how this all came to be
Every little sparkle is just free
i hope the night will always have a mystery
because it is miracles like this that make history
