TREES ARE BEST FRIENDS OF MINE
Half Yearly Examination
Is on my head ,
Everyone is asking ,
"Are you ready? Have you read?"
English , SST , Mathematics,
Hindi, Odia, Computer and Sciences.
All the subjects you have to cover,
Don't waste time, be sincere.
Mama:
In the class test,
Why did you score less?
I had taught you everything,
You have made it a mess?
Papa:
Be attentive in the class ,
Listen, understand and then write.
Read the question mindfully before you answer,
You will see , everything will be right.
Grand pa :
Whenever I see,
You are busy with your mobile.
It has become an addiction,
Can't you leave it for a while?
Grand Mama:
What are you learning,
From the cartoons, games, serials etc from your mobile?
In stead, many new things you can learn,
If you search your Google.
Daily I am listening, " Do this. Do that.
Score hundred out of hundred. "
Oh ! God, let the exm. be finished, I will enjoy the Pooja
By emptying all the burdens from my head .

A teacher needn’t be,
One by profession,
Anyone can be,
By answering one’s question!
They can be found all around,
Disguised as water, wind or sound,
Teachers can be many,
Each one can astound!
Books, friends or mothers,
They teach us something new,
Skills, kindness, dedication,
And other talents too!
We can’t forget our teachers,
Teaching various subjects,
Some say, ‘They’re a bore’,
But to us, they’re much more!

TREES ARE BEST FRIENDS OF MINE
Trees are best friends of mine,
They smile when sunshine.
They stand day and night,
Never get angry when we do wrong or right.
They give us fruits both sweet and sour,
At times they need little care.
They give us oxygen for free,
So, never cut a tree.
