MY LITTLE SWEET FRIEND
It was cool winter evening,
Patrick, my friend was alone on the road with a sweater and a shawl ,
Returning home from his school.
Suddenly heard a sound, like roar of a lion,
Looked all directions and found none.
Ran on the road out of fear,
Only to find swinging branches of a Peepal tree.
The wicked wind, he thought ,
But suddenly the swinging branches stopped.
Trembling limbs and shivering body ,
Blindly ran to reach his home to meet his daddy.
Why are you so frightened Beta, asked his mother?
Nothing Mom,nothing Mom ," Did you see the ghost either? "
"Ghost? Who said you about Ghost?
These are imaginary pictures,
Portrait by my parents and grandparents to make us sleep.
Written in the book, you brought from the library ,
You were reading, I have seen. "
Patrick slept with her mother,
Shouted in the dead of the night ,"Mom! Mom! That Ghost is calling."
Mom saw," He is in deep sleep, snoring and shouting."

Daily during my school time,
I meet a little girl with a same uniform as of mine.
Standing with her mother on the foot path,
Reading a book or doing Math .
One day the sky was dark and it was raining ,
I found both under an umbrella, standing.
Another day saw a silver color van,
Carried the cute girl and speedily ran.
Next day I got down from my car and wished her mother,
"Aunty! Daily with me , can I pickup her ?
On the way to school I will teach her ,
I will love her as my younger sister.
In the vehicle, all the funs we will make ,
I promise, our friendship will not break. "
"OK Beta !" Said her Mummy and I touched her feet
Hugged my new little friend, " You are so sweet. "
