Missiles of Yesteryears And Missiles of Today

Mark all animate, inanimate

Objects connected with

Barbarik,

And the first arrow shot.

Job completed, back in the quiver.

Tie all together,

and the second roared into sky,

All done, and back in place.

The Mahabharat battle ground,

Riding a blue horse,

Armed with 3 arrows in a quiver,

Arrived the missile man

To wind up the war in a minute,

Which for others in days ?!

Bhisma 20 days, Arjuna 28,

Drona 25,Karna 24

and for the architect of Mahabharat

18days.!!

In modern warfare

Target acquisition with accuracy,

But not for individual objects,

On completion of job

No return  of weapon to the owner.

But our missile man ,far superior

Having command  over  missiles,

Knew the know-how

Of bringing them back

 on completion of the task.

The architect and the executioner

Of the  war  challenged the

Missile man for a demo,

And asked him to mark and tie

The leaves of a peepal  tree.

The arrow shot by missile man

just before completion

Of his job started hovering over Krishna’s

Foot where  Krishna hid one leaf.

Mesmerised with the infallible arrows’power

The Supreme command

in a dilemma over,

“how to hide and protect Pandavas”,

If Barbarik joins either sides,

As he is blessed with boon

To make his opposite side weaker,

And forced to join the weaker side

As promised to his mother.

Oscillation between sides

Will annihilate both the sides,

Except himself.

And the supremo, eventually

Decapitated the greatest unknown

Missile man of the universe, ever born.

On his prayer the decapitated head

Placed on a hill

to witness the whole war.

And the unsung, uncapped hero

Was the grandson of Bhim and Hidimba,

Son of Ghatatkoch and Maurvi(Ahilawati),

And is Khatushyam, Maurvinandan, Barbarika

Sheesh Ke Daani , Haare Ka Sahara

Teen Baan Dhaari,  Lakha-datari .

And the third arrow,

Not shot at all.

Left , chanting

“Srishyam aarti”,

“ Sri Shyam Vinati”.

Target acquisition

Growing  very fast,

After “September 11”,

But  Barbarik ?

Of Mahabharat times.

An expert in that field,

In that age.

Great!!!

Having this sumptuous dinner,

Can we say

there is not a cook    ?

NOTES

Barbarik,on way to Kurukshetra to witness Mahabharat war and if need be to join the weaker side met Krishna in disguise of a Brahmin

Krishna knew his power of wiping out the world with one arrow ,and wanted to test the capability of the arrows. He asked him how many days he would take the finish the great war. Krishna was surprised to hear that he had come with three arrows, with one he would mark the enemies, with second he would mark the people not connected with war and with the third he would kill all those enemies. All these would take one minute.

Krishna requested him to demonstrate his power by marking and tying together all the leaves of a peepal tree near by.Before finishing the tasks one arrow started hovering over Krishna's foot.Krishna asked Barbarik why this was so, and Barbarik told him that there might be a leaf under his foot, and if Krishna did not reveal it then the arrow would pierce his foot.

This demonstration was sufficient to prove the power of Barbarik.Krishna was in a dilemma, how to hide the Pandavas if need be as Barbarik's arrow would find them.

Barbarik would join a side first, weaker side.By another boon when he joined a side the opposite side lost half of their power, in that case he would join them.Like this, by oscillating between the sides he would empty the battle ground within a minute.

Krishna tricked him, decapitated him ,and as prayed, granted his severed head to witness the Mahabharat war of 18 days..

All these mean during Mahabharat war the people were aware of "guided missile warfare " and they were able to bring their weapons back, which we are not yet capable of achieving.

We can't say it is all humbug, because if it doent exist from where he got the ideas ?
